About Stark Pride Festival
The Stark Pride Festival is an annual Pride in downtown Canton, run by a nonprofit committee serving Stark County. It is held at Centennial Plaza and includes a Pride march, youth and family programming, and vendor and exhibitor booths.
The Stark Pride Festival Committee is a 501(c)(3) volunteer committee whose programs, meetings and events are open to everyone regardless of age, race, nationality, sex, gender status, sexual orientation, income, religion, language, ability or immigration status. Past festivals have drawn more than 6,000 attendees combined, and the 2026 festival planned more music, entertainment, speakers, educational programs, community booths, businesses, artists and food.
Stark Pride is a family event, and organizers ask attendees to dress so that private areas are covered. The Family and Youth area hosts a Humane Society donation drive in memory of Ryan J.J. Godbey, and a Friends of Stark Pride donor program offers perks at the festival while funding safety and accessibility.
