About Black Pride Midwest (Fever Midwest Pride)
Black Pride Midwest is a weekend of events in Cleveland celebrating Black LGBTQ+ people.
Fever Midwest Pride is a new Black Pride weekend for the Midwest, and Cleveland hosted its first edition in July 2026. It centers Black LGBTQ+ people with day parties, nightlife events, cultural programming, community activations and live performances.
The weekend is curated by a group of LGBTQ+ event promoters, listed as Master Crenshaw, Boss Britt, KayKayTheHost and Detroit Queer Women, whose home bases include Cleveland, Detroit, Cincinnati and Atlanta. The organizers plan to move the event to a different Midwest city each year.
For the Cleveland edition, organizers suggested visitors stay in Beachwood, which sits between Cleveland and Akron and is close to hotels, restaurants and shopping. VIP sections, talent submissions and vendor applications are handled through the event's Instagram account.
