BBH Pride Fest

BBH Pride Fest is organized by BBH Pride, a nonprofit serving Brecksville and Broadview Heights. The 2026 festival ran from noon to 7 p.m. at the Broadview Heights City Campus and Amphitheater. The group also runs support groups through the year.

BBH Pride is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit made up of people who live or work in Brecksville and Broadview Heights, two suburbs south of Cleveland. Its mission is to build awareness and acceptance and to make both cities welcoming for LGBTQ+ residents of every age, including people thinking about moving there. The group believes that greater understanding of the challenges LGBTQ+ people face helps save lives, and it names lowering suicide rates among LGBTQ+ people as a core goal.

Much of the group's work happens through education. It has hosted community conversations such as a session on the transgender experience at the Brecksville Community Center, led by a local psychologist, a MetroHealth family and gender care physician, the director of TransOhio and a speaker with lived experience, with a virtual option for people who could not attend in person.

BBH Pride also runs a Welcoming Merchant program for local businesses that commit to inclusive, safe and equitable workplaces, and it holds networking events for those merchants. Volunteers serve on committees that work with city officials and residents so that LGBTQ+ youth can come out safely and LGBTQ+ adults feel at home in both cities. Members describe Pride Fest as a day when families celebrate together.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 27, 2026. It usually falls late June.
