About Ann Arbor Pride

Ann Arbor Pride is a one-day street festival held in downtown Ann Arbor near Liberty and Main streets. The event runs from midday into the evening with vendors, sponsors, and community groups.

Ann Arbor Pride dates to 1995, when it began under the name OUTFest. It is hosted by the Jim Toy Community Center, a local LGBTQ+ advocacy and support center named for activist Jim Toy, who spent his life working for the rights and well-being of LGBTQ+ people.

The festival has grown quickly in recent years. Organizers counted between 10,000 and 15,000 people in 2024, and in 2025, with two stages, the event drew more than 20,000 people and just over 200 vendors. Vendors range from spiritual and community groups to dispensaries and nightclubs.

Admission is free. Stage entertainment is family-friendly until 6 p.m., and uniformed police officers and private security work the event. For parking, organizers point visitors to the Library Lane, Washington Street and Ashley Street parking structures, and the website offers a general map of the festival grounds.
