Plymouth Pride in the Old Village

Plymouth Pride is a street festival on Liberty Street in Plymouth's Old Village, hosted by the Plymouth Old Village Association. The street is lined with vendors, food trucks, and resource groups, with a stage for a DJ and drag performers. The first edition was held in 2025.

Plymouth Pride is hosted by the Plymouth Old Village Association, which runs community events in the historic Old Village throughout the year. Its stated purpose for Pride is a day of community, fun, inclusion, awareness and support for LGBTQIA+ neighbors. The association hosted its first Pride festival in 2025 and called it a big success, and it planned a larger second event for 2026.

The plan closes Liberty Street and lines both sides with vendors, food trucks and nonprofit, informational and resource groups, with a stage at one end. The stage program includes drag performers, a hula hoop artist, speakers and a live DJ throughout the day, and a vendor list and map are posted ahead of the event.

The festival depends on sponsors and in-kind donations from neighbors, and the association accepts vendor and performer applications, sponsorships and donations. It has also released new Pride designs in its online merchandise store.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.
