About Berkley Pride
Berkley Pride is a block party in downtown Berkley that celebrates the LGBTQ+ community and its neighbors. The 2026 event was its fifth annual celebration, and it grew out of a grassroots gathering.
Berkley Pride fills Downtown Berkley between Robina Avenue and Griffith Avenue, just south of 12 Mile Road. The block party is free and family-friendly and now draws thousands of neighbors, families and friends. The event is presented through Downtown Berkley, the city's downtown development authority.
Vendor booths feature local businesses and makers, and official Berkley Pride shirts and merchandise are sold on site. Vendors bring their own tents, tables and chairs, and applications are reviewed rather than automatically accepted, with full refunds for groups that are not selected. Food trucks must be fully licensed in Oakland County, and organizers limit duplicate offerings to keep a balanced mix of food and drinks. Volunteer shifts are open on event day.
