Casper Pride

Casper Pride holds an annual Pride week in Casper, with a Pride festival as its main event. The 2026 week, themed Pride Lives Here, opened with an arts kickoff at ART 321 and included an open house at the Casper Pride community center.

Casper Pride grew out of a 2016 effort by local volunteers and the Casper PFLAG chapter to establish a regular Pride event. In 2018 it became its own organization so that both groups could focus on their separate missions while continuing to work together. The festival moved to David Street Station in the heart of downtown Casper in 2021, and the organization has since committed to growing its presence year-round.

The main Pride week falls in the second week of June and brings live performances, events and vendors to central Wyoming. Between festivals, Casper Pride serves as a hub for LGBTQ+ events, resources and volunteer opportunities, including help connecting people with affirming healthcare providers.

Casper Pride is a 501(c)(3) organization focused on education, support and advocacy for an inclusive community. It also runs a planned giving program with the Wyoming Community Foundation so donors can help secure the long-term future of the local queer community.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

Casper Pride has included festival, pride week events, art events and open house.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 11-14, 2026. It usually falls second week of June.
