Pride Cheyenne Street Festival

The Pride Cheyenne Street Festival is a free, all-ages LGBTQ+ celebration in downtown Cheyenne, organized by Pride Cheyenne. The 2026 edition was the fourth annual street festival. It includes vendors, food trucks, live music and DJs, drag performers, and a puppy pageant with the Cheyenne Animal Shelter.

Pride Cheyenne is a nonprofit that began with a goal of creating a free, self-sustaining Pride festival for Cheyenne and the surrounding area, and that effort has grown into broader community building. The street fair brings together food trucks, music, local organizations, artists and performers, along with artisans selling jewelry, handmade snacks and home decor. Visitors are encouraged to spend time exploring downtown shops, restaurants and entertainment venues during the day.

Outside of the festival, the group hosts events throughout the year, including karaoke nights, pub crawls, movie nights, social meetups, family and youth events, and education programs, all aimed at making its corner of Wyoming a more inclusive place to live. The organizers are a mix of LGBTQ+ teachers, equestrians, medical providers, business owners, parents, artists, performers, community leaders and allies, and they welcome new people who want to get involved.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 13, 2026. It usually falls mid-June Saturday.
