Cincinnati Pride

Cincinnati Pride is the city's main Pride parade and festival, held on the downtown riverfront. The parade starts around 11 a.m. near 7th Street, travels down Vine Street past Fountain Square and ends at Sawyer Point. The free festival that follows at Sawyer Point and Yeatman's Cove has food, drinks, vendors and entertainment.

Cincinnati Pride is an all-volunteer organization with no paid employees. It describes its purpose as giving the Greater Cincinnati LGBTQIA+ community and its allies a forum that promotes inclusion and acceptance, with programs meant to inspire, educate and commemorate LGBTQIA+ history while celebrating the community's culture.

The organization works with area groups and businesses through sponsorships, partnerships and programming, and it sees Pride as a way to support local economic growth by drawing visitors to the region. It also offers information and educational resources to people inside and outside the LGBTQ community. Its nondiscrimination policy covers a long list of categories, including Appalachian regional origin, natural hair and income level, and applies to board appointments, contractors and volunteers.

For the riverfront festival, organizers recommend reserving parking ahead of time through SpotHero for the Sawyer Point and Yeatman's Cove area. Donations go entirely to Cincinnati Pride and its mission.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 27, 2026. It usually falls fourth Saturday in June.
