Columbia Pride

Columbia Pride is a nonprofit serving LGBTQIA+ people and allies in Columbia and Maury County. Its 2026 festival is on Saturday, October 10 from 1 to 5 p.m. at Riverwalk Park with vendor booths, an artisan market and community performances.

Columbia Pride is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit formed to educate, uplift and build community among LGBTQIA+ people and allies in Maury County and nearby areas, mainly through Pride events. Its guiding idea is that Pride is for everyone, and the festival is meant to be a safe setting where LGBTQIA+ people, their families and allies are treated with equality and acceptance.

The event relies on sponsors and donors, who can give money or in-kind goods and services, and contributions are tax-deductible. For 2026 the Maury County Democratic Party matched community donations dollar for dollar up to $1,000. LGBTQIA+ friendly businesses, artisans and makers can register to sell at the festival, and volunteers help with everything from morning setup to teardown.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.
