About Eastern Sierra Pride Festival
The Eastern Sierra Pride Festival is held at Mammoth Mountain's Canyon Lodge by the nonprofit Eastern Sierra Pride, which also holds events in Bishop. 2026 was its fifth annual festival.
Eastern Sierra Pride is a nonprofit of 2SLGBTQIAP+ people and allies working to make the region welcoming, healthy and safe. The 2026 festival at Canyon Lodge ran over two days in early June. Through the year the group hosts all-ages meetups where people can connect and share resources, keeps a curated list of affirming services in Inyo and Mono counties covering everything from jobs and healthcare to pet sitters and yoga, and has held fundraisers such as one raising awareness of dynamic disabilities and multiple sclerosis.
Volunteers can join committees for the book club, healthcare, outreach, PFLAG, scholarships and Pride events. The board includes residents of Bishop, Mammoth Lakes and June Lake, among them a public health nurse who is a member of the Chickasaw Nation.
