AV Pride Fest

AV Pride Fest is the Antelope Valley's Pride festival, hosted by The OUTreach Center in Lancaster. It features live entertainment, drag performances, and community booths, with related events such as a Pride walk in Palmdale earlier in June.

AV Pride Fest is put on by The OUTreach Center, which describes itself as the leading LGBTQ+ community building organization in the Antelope Valley. The center runs support groups, educational programs, social events and equality advocacy, and it works with other groups serving youth, older adults, parents and marginalized communities to provide health, social and cultural services.

The festival is a ticketed day with live music, a DJ, speakers, local artists, drag performances and food, open to LGBTQIA+ people and allies alike. The center raises money for it during the year, including a spring fundraiser and pizza nights where part of each purchase supports Pride in the valley.

Pride season in the Antelope Valley reaches beyond the festival. The AV Pride Walk in Palmdale starts with a rally and ends at Transplants Brewing Company, and it is free and open to all ages. The center has also held a short stroll along the Blvd followed by a social at the center, a drag brunch, and a free Pride Wine Down at the end of June to look back on the month.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 20, 2026. It usually falls third Saturday of June.
