About Chico Pride Downtown Festival
The Chico Pride Downtown Festival is hosted by the Stonewall Alliance Center of Chico in the downtown City Plaza, anchoring a month of Pride art and performance events in Chico.
Chico Pride is produced by the Stonewall Alliance Center of Chico, which works to support the health, empowerment and joy of the North State LGBTQ+ community. The Downtown Festival is the centerpiece, held at 132 West 4th Street from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in 2026, and the same day included a garden party at Allies Pub with a $3 cover and an after party at Duffy's with a $5 cover.
The rest of the season is spread across local venues. The 2026 calendar included a teen dance at 1078 Gallery, a drag family story time, a drink and draw night at Argus, a drag show at Roselle Bar and Lounge, a craft day at Chai House, bingo at Ramble West and free yoga sessions every Friday in June at Free Bird Yoga. A local co-op also ran a round-up charity drive during the month.
