About Pride in the Park (Estes Park)
Pride in the Park is Estes Park's hometown Pride weekend. A ticketed Friday fundraiser is followed by a free, all-ages Saturday celebration downtown with performances, local vendors, music, and art, plus an evening afterparty.
Pride in the Park is a grassroots event hosted by Pirate Face Productions, and 2026 marked its fifth year. The weekend opens with the Gay-LaLa fundraiser on Friday evening in the Social Hall at Lonigans Pub and Grill, which raises money to keep the celebration going in future years.
The Saturday festival takes place on The Slab and George Hix Plaza in downtown Estes Park. Alongside vendor booths, art, music and performances, the program includes conversations about LGBTQ+ rights, visibility and inclusion, and it is open to people of all ages. The evening after party, called Kings and Queens and Fabulous Things, returns to the Lonigans Social Hall, and tipping the performers is encouraged. The town sits at more than 7,500 feet in the Rocky Mountains, about 90 miles northwest of Denver, at the edge of Rocky Mountain National Park.
