Greenwood Pride Festival

Greenwood Pride Festival is a free, all-ages event at Woodmen Park in Greenwood, south of Indianapolis. It has more than 150 vendors, food trucks, drag and live music, a discovery zone for kids and a 21 and over beer and wine garden.

Greenwood Indiana Pride Inc. was founded in 2018 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that produces LGBTQIA+ Pride events meant to inspire, educate, commemorate and celebrate the community. The 2026 festival ran from noon to 6 p.m. on June 6 at Woodmen Park, next to Greenwood High School, with free tickets offered through Eventbrite.

The Discovery Zone offers free activities for kids, such as a cake walk, ring toss and water race, along with a diaper changing station. A health hub hosts booths from local organizations, and the Damien Center brings its mobile testing unit. Entertainment is spread across a main stage, a DJ dance stage and a karaoke stage hosted by KJ Oz, and the karaoke stage opens the morning with yoga from Studio You Yoga.

The beer and wine area features MashCraft brewery and Mallow Run Winery, served by Tapp Room, and outside alcohol is not allowed. Visitors can bring chairs, blankets and small canopies up to 10 feet by 10 feet to watch the main stage. A 50/50 raffle and more than 25 raffle baskets raise money for the festival and its Pride Gives Back charitable giving, and a donation drop collects non-perishable items for partner charities. Parking is available at Woodmen Boulevard and School Drive and through the Crescent Drive entrance on the south side of the park.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 6, 2026. It usually falls first Saturday of June.
