Henderson Pride Festival

The Henderson Pride Festival is a series of events in Henderson presented by the ICME Foundation, focused on cultural diversity, wellness, and LGBTQ community visibility. Its main festival has been held at Water Street Plaza.

The Henderson Pride Festival is presented by the International Cultural Movement for Equality, or ICME Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works toward equality by encouraging honest conversation, teaching tolerance and inclusion, and doing community outreach. It is run by a team of regular and part-time volunteers.

The festival brings live music, food, a family fun zone, vendors and entertainment to Water Street Plaza, and organizers invite local talent to submit their information to perform. ICME frames the event around cultural diversity, family, health and wellness, and as a way to support the city's growth while showing the LGBTQ community as an economic force. The Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort and Spa has served as host hotel, and the festival has received certificates from the City of Henderson and a congressional certificate, along with a Pride announcement from Congresswoman Susie Lee.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. It usually falls spring (May).
