Nevada Pride

Nevada Pride, also called Sassabration, is a three-day Pride celebration at the Brewery Arts Center in Carson City. It features a drag show, music, food, and vendors.

Nevada Pride is hosted by the Brewery Arts Center in Carson City. The 2026 weekend opened with a Friday movie night screening of the film Trick, continued with a vendor fair on Saturday, and closed with a Sunday brunch at Nashville Social Club, and a nearby hotel offered rooms for visitors staying the weekend.

The arts center is housed in the oldest commercial building in Nevada, standing since 1864 and first home to Carson Brewery, the original maker of Tahoe Beer. The building later served as headquarters of the Nevada Appeal newspaper, and the Brewery Arts Center moved in for good in 1976.

Today the center runs a two-block campus with facilities for visual arts, theater, music, film, dance and education, including a 250-seat performance hall in a former church. It is privately funded, hosts a free summer concert series, and provides a home for many local nonprofits and artists.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

Nevada Pride has included festival, drag show and music.

Nevada Pride was first held in 2025.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 12-14, 2026. It usually falls mid-June.
