Pahrump Pride

Pahrump Pride holds a free, all-ages annual festival at the Pahrump Nugget and offers support and events for LGBTQIA+ residents of Southern Nevada year-round.

Pahrump Pride works to connect with the LGBTQIA+ community across Southern Nevada and to offer support, resources and inclusive events throughout the year, with its festival each June as the centerpiece. The group's goal is for every event to feel friendly and safe for everyone, from people who are out and proud to parents of young people who are questioning, and to be a place where people can find resources and feel at home.

Pahrump is a rural town with a wide mix of residents, and the group invites local businesses and organizations to partner with it by hosting events, sharing resources or being listed as a Friendly Business. It also points people to regional support services, including the Community Counseling Center of Southern Nevada, which provides affordable mental health and substance use treatment, and to LGBTQIA+ community centers and crisis support lines for people who are struggling.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 28, 2026. It usually falls late June.
