High Desert Pride Festival

The High Desert Pride Center serves LGBTQ+ residents of the Victor Valley and has held a Pride festival in Victorville, most recently in September 2025. It also hosts a Pride Prom and other events.

The High Desert Pride Center is a grassroots LGBTQIA+ organization serving the Victor Valley and surrounding High Desert communities, including Adelanto, Apple Valley, Barstow, El Mirage, Hesperia, Lucerne Valley and Victorville. It grew out of the Rainbow GSA at St. Hilary's Episcopal Church in Hesperia and a local LGBTQ+ caucus, and the church serves as its fiscal sponsor. The group describes itself as a coalition of healthcare workers, educators, advocates, artists and community builders.

Along with the annual Pride festival and an LGBTQ+ prom, the center hosts karaoke nights and a monthly LGBTQ+ History Brunch at St. Hilary's, usually on the second or third Saturday. Each brunch features a new topic or guest speaker, from local elders and historians to artists and activists, with a focus on overlooked stories from the High Desert. The brunches are free and open to everyone regardless of faith background, with donations welcome.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.
