Naper Pride Fest

Naper Pride Fest is a September Pride festival at Naper Settlement in Naperville, organized by Naper Pride. It debuted in 2021, took a break in 2023 and returned in 2024 and 2025. Naper Pride also runs year-round programs such as social nights and senior coffees.

Naper Pride was founded in 2019 with the goal of building a local network that helps LGBTQ people and families find resources for physical and mental health, education and professional growth, and that creates social and civic opportunities for the LGBTQ community and the city of Naperville. It is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit run entirely by volunteers, and it says all donations go directly back into the community.

The group describes Naper Pride as a family-centered celebration. Through partnerships, outreach and advocacy, it works to make sure LGBTQIA+ residents have access to healthcare, safe spaces and a strong support network.

Along with the festival, Naper Pride holds a Health and Resource Fair and smaller observances such as the Trans Day of Remembrance. It also runs a peer-led support group for LGBTQIA+ adults 18 and older, led by members of the community, noting that stress from housing costs, the job market and inflation is running high.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. The 2026 edition was cancelled. It usually falls september.
