About Bloomington-Normal Pridefest

B-N Pridefest is a family-friendly festival in downtown Bloomington that began as a block party. It features what organizers call Central Illinois' largest outdoor drag show, sponsored by The Bistro, along with live entertainment, local artists, community resources and food. The 2026 event had two stages and more than 150 vendors and nonprofits.

What to expect

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.
