Pequannock Pride Fest

Pequannock Pride Fest is a community Pride festival in Morris County organized by the local group Propel Pequannock.

Pequannock Pride Fest is put on by PROPEL Pequannock, a group of local residents who organize around social justice. The group aims to make the township more welcoming for people who are marginalized, and its mission centers on respectful, honest communication that supports people of all races, genders, religions and sexual orientations, along with teaching children to value truth, equity, diversity and inclusion.

Outside the festival, PROPEL runs a QR Code to Mental Health program. Window clings at township businesses link to a webpage with more than 70 local, regional, state and national mental health resources, with the goal of making mental health care as free of stigma as seeing a doctor for the flu. The code counts scans but collects no personal information. The festival page lists Chilton Medical Center, part of Atlantic Health System, and the Pequannock Township Regional Chamber of Commerce among its supporters.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 6, 2026. It usually falls first Saturday in June.
