Pride on C-Street

Pride on C-Street is a fall block party and street fair on Springfield's Historic Commercial Street, hosted by the GLO Center. It brings vendors, local food and drink, and live performances to the neighborhood around the center.

Pride on C-Street is the GLO Center's way of bringing the spirit of Ozarks Pridefest to its own doorstep on Commercial Street. Organizers describe it as a mix of block party and street fair that honors the history of the local LGBTQIA+ community and supports the C-Street district, where many members of that community live and work.

Vendor booths start at $50, and sponsorships are available at several levels, which organizers pitch as an affordable way to stay connected with LGBTQIA+ communities across the Ozarks. Businesses can also donate goods or services for the GLO Center to use. Performers apply through an interest form, and those selected hear back in mid-August. Volunteers must pass a background check and attend an in-person or virtual orientation the week before the event. The GLO Center shares updates through a weekly newsletter and on social media.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The next edition is September 26, 2026. It usually falls late September Saturday.
