St. Cloud Pride Week and Pride in the Park

St. Cloud Pride Week is a week of events in St. Cloud that ends with Pride in the Park at Lake George. The 2026 week included trivia, a Pride and Peace Walk, a movie screening, a youth dance party and a drag show. Pride in the Park offers local food vendors, businesses, organizations, music and games.

St. Cloud Pride was started in 2010 to raise awareness of heterosexism, homophobia and transphobia in Central Minnesota. About 1,700 people attended the first celebration, and attendance has since grown to more than 8,000. The group's main focus is providing education, resources and events for the LGBTQ+ community all year, including monthly QueerConnects gatherings and an annual drag brunch.

Organizers say they have increased security planning since a 2022 federal advisory warned of a heightened threat of violence against LGBTQIA+ people, while making clear they will keep holding public events. The group has also said it will continue to support immigrants and trans and nonbinary people, and it offers support by email to anyone who needs it. People can help by volunteering, attending meetings, donating, sponsoring or buying items from its wish list.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The next edition is September 13-18, 2027. It usually falls pride Week ending the third Saturday in September.
