About Pride Vermont

Pride Vermont is the state's largest Pride celebration, held in Burlington each September. The parade steps off on South Winooski Avenue, travels up Church and Pearl streets, and ends at Battery Park, where a free afternoon festival with music, performances, and food takes place. In 2026 a community coalition including Burly Bear, Out in the 802, Queer VT, and the City of Burlington took over organizing from the Pride Center of Vermont.

What to expect

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.
