About Vacaville Pride in the Park
Vacaville Pride in the Park is a community Pride gathering organized by the Vacaville Peoples Forum.
Vacaville Pride in the Park takes place at Andrews Park at 614 East Monte Vista Avenue and is free and family-friendly. The 2026 festival was the sixth. Recent lineups have included live music and performances, DJ Rene Ortiz, drag shows, local vendors and food trucks, community resource booths, and a kids zone with a foam party and activities for teens. Organizers describe it as a day for visibility, acceptance and a safe, affirming space for everyone, and they encourage visitors to support local LGBTQ+ businesses and artists.
The host, the Vacaville People's Forum, was founded in 2020 to run a community-driven candidates forum where residents could ask questions that mattered to them. It has since grown to organize the city's Martin Luther King Jr. Day observance, the Be You Inclusion and Resource Fair for the special needs community, Pride in the Park, and a March social media campaign spotlighting inspiring women of Vacaville. Its mission is to give underrepresented voices a forum in the city, and it became a 501(c)(3) in 2024. Mary Vasquez serves as president.
Support for the festival has come from local businesses, the Solano Pride Center, individual donors, two city council members through the Measure M district program and California Assemblymember Lori Wilson.
