Pasadena Pride

Pasadena Pride is a free, family-friendly evening celebration at Pasadena City Hall hosted by the City of Pasadena, with live performances, arts and crafts, and community booths. 2026 was the fifth annual celebration.

Pasadena Pride is organized by the City of Pasadena's Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department, and it takes place at Pasadena City Hall on Garfield Avenue. The 2026 celebration ran from 6 to 9 p.m. and featured singer-songwriter Virr and local drag performers presented by 2 Hot 2 Handle, including Rock M. Sakura.

The evening also included arts and crafts, dance contests, inflatables and a photo opportunity by Girl Squad Media, along with a photo display by photographer Gilbert B. Weingourt showing participants and artistic expressions of their joy in Pride. Guests could meet local LGBTQIA+ organizations, community partners and city departments, and food trucks sold dinner.

Sponsors included HRC Fertility, whose first practice location was in Pasadena, along with the Pasadena Management Association, Girl Squad Media, The Boulevard and Fat Boys. The department's director has described the event as a way to honor and support LGBTQIA+ neighbors, friends and family.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

Pasadena Pride has included festival and performances.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 13, 2026. It usually falls a Saturday evening in June.
