Baltimore Pride

Baltimore Pride is a week-long LGBTQ+ celebration produced by the Pride Center of Maryland. The 2026 edition, themed Charm City Homecoming, included a parade on Saturday, June 13 starting near Charles Street and North Avenue, a block party that afternoon and a festival at Druid Hill Park on Sunday, June 14. The event traces its roots to a small demonstration held in 1975.

Baltimore Pride is hosted by the Pride Center of Maryland, and the 2026 edition marked 51 years of the event, running across the week of June 8 to June 14. What began in 1975 as a small, peaceful demonstration grew along with the Pride Center into a citywide tradition that has included the parade and block party, the Twilight on the Terrace Gala, Youth Pride and Pride in the Park.

The celebration has moved around the city over the decades, from Charles Plaza to the 200 block of Chase Street, Park Avenue and the Wyman Park Dell, before settling at North Charles and 23rd Streets and Druid Hill Park. The parade runs from noon to 3 p.m. and features floats, marching bands, community groups and special guests.

The festival at Druid Hill Park includes live performances, DJs, wellness programming, food, vendors and community activations. Organizers describe the festival as reaching more than 100,000 people, and they recruit sponsors, vendors and volunteers each year to make it happen.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

Baltimore Pride was first held in 1975. Organizers reported more than 100,000 expected people in 2026.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 8-14, 2026. It usually falls second week of June, with the parade Saturday and festival Sunday.
