About Redding Pride
Redding Pride holds a Pride week in mid-June that ends with a festival on the Downtown Promenade on Market Street. The Sundial Bridge is lit in Pride colors during the week.
Redding Pride Week is organized by the NorCal OUTreach Project, Redding's LGBTQIA2S+ center and a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. The week has included a family day alongside the Pride lighting of the Sundial Bridge.
For 2026 the festival returned to downtown, with the new Whistle Stop Park serving as the entertainment center for dancing, comedy and local drag queens. More than 100 vendors, wellness partners and local collectives take part, offering everything from tattoos and wood carvings to Pride gear, alongside allied local businesses.
The NorCal OUTreach Project youth team runs an all-ages, alcohol-free zone with dance parties and face painting. Downtown metered street parking and paid city lots are free all day on weekends and holidays. Donations to the NorCal OUTreach Project may be tax deductible.
