Tri-County Diversity Pride in the Park

Pride in the Park is the largest annual event of Tri-County Diversity, the LGBTQ+ resource center serving Yuba, Sutter, and Colusa counties. The free, all-ages festival in Yuba City features stage performances, vendor booths, a kids zone, food trucks, and community resources.

Pride in the Park is the biggest event of the year for Tri-County Diversity, and it is planned by volunteers who also run the center's peer support socials, programs and activities throughout the year. The 2026 festival logo was created by local artist jt.reid.art and is also featured in the TCD Art Gallery.

At the festival, vendor and resource booths offer information, one-of-a-kind art, merchandise and interactive activities. The TCD Pride Shop booth sells TCD and Pride merchandise, and the TCD Resource Booth shares information about events and activities the center hosts year-round. A kids zone welcomes children and kids at heart, and food booths round out the day. Starshine Productions, led by Lizz Shine, hosts and coordinates the stage and performers. The event depends on volunteers and sponsors to bring Pride to Yuba-Sutter each year.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The next edition is October 3, 2026. It usually falls early October.
