About Chippewa Valley Pride in the Park
Pride in the Park is the Chippewa Valley's Pride festival, organized by the Chippewa Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center at Phoenix Park in Eau Claire. It features up to 100 vendors, musical acts and all-ages drag by local performers.
Pride in the Park is organized by the Chippewa Valley LGBTQ+ Community Center, which serves Eau Claire, Chippewa and Dunn counties. The center provides services and educational programs meant to support the well-being and unity of LGBTQ+ people and to build understanding and acceptance in the wider region. Its stated goal is to make queerness an ordinary part of life in the valley and help people live as themselves.
Pride in the Park is one of the center's main community-building events, along with Queer Prom.
