Columbus Georgia LGBTQ Pride Festival (Colgay Pride)

The Columbus Georgia LGBTQ Pride Festival is organized by Colgay Pride at Woodruff Riverfront Park in Uptown Columbus. The two-day event opens with a Friday evening show and pageant, followed on Saturday by a morning parade and a daylong festival. The 2026 festival was the 13th annual, with the theme No One Erased, No One Alone.

Colgay Pride has announced that its June 2027 festival will be its last. After 14 years, the organization plans to close its doors in Columbus, and it has described the coming year as a farewell run, with the final festival set for June 5 and 6, 2027.

Along with the festival, Colgay Pride hosts events through the year at 4214 16th Avenue in Columbus. Its Diversity Saturday series has included free drag nights with a DJ, food trucks and a cash bar, such as a fall-themed show called Harvest of Queens. The group's 13th annual Halloween Festival, billed as its last, includes trick-or-treating for kids in the early evening.

The organization describes its mission as empowering the LGBTQ+ community through advocacy, education and support. It holds workshops and support groups, works with local organizations and allies, and organizes protests, rallies and advocacy campaigns against laws and policies it sees as harmful to LGBTQ+ people.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.
