Davis County Pride Festival

Davis County Pride is a free annual festival held each May by the nonprofit Davis County Pride. The 2026 edition, the fifth annual, took place at Layton Commons Park with the theme This Is Me. It featured a main stage of local performers, more than 100 vendors and exhibitors, food trucks, and a children's game area.

Davis County Pride is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports LGBTQ+ people and allies in Davis County, Utah. Its festival is one of the largest in the state, with more than 120 vendors and exhibitors, and because it is held in early May it serves as an unofficial start to Pride season across Utah. The 2026 theme, This Is Me, was presented as a circus of diversity and inclusion.

The group also hosts or supports events through the year aimed at lifting up and increasing the visibility of marginalized people in the county. These have included an intimate backyard concert in Syracuse with queer folk and Americana singer Paul McGrew and a monthly Coffee and Conversations meetup on the last Sunday of each month at Bean's Coffee in Clearfield.

Its largest financial supporter, Project Rainbow Utah, runs a program that stakes Pride flags in front yards and along routes in the county. Festival planning is done by volunteer committees covering logistics, entertainment, fundraising, marketing, accessibility and youth programming, and newcomers can get started by attending a board meeting.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held May 2, 2026. It usually falls early May.
