Trenton Pride

Trenton Pride begins with a solidarity march from the New Jersey State House to Mill Hill Park, where the festival takes place. Downtown businesses join with Pride deals during the event.

Trenton Pride is produced by the Trenton Pride Center, which provides safe spaces, programming, services and resources for LGBTQIA+ people in the Greater Trenton area. Its work includes public events, direct service programs, peer support, social development and referrals to other organizations, and it plans to add programs as resources allow and eventually find a permanent home in Trenton.

The day begins as marchers gather outside the State House Annex for a solidarity march to Mill Hill Park. Opening ceremonies in the park lead into a day of live entertainment, music and drag performances, with vendors, artists and craftspeople, food trucks, installation art, family activity areas and community partners.

Free all-day parking is available at the Liberty Commons Garage on East Front Street. Park seating is limited, so visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets, and a published map shows the march route, festival layout and downtown businesses offering Pride deals. The next Trenton Pride is set for May 22, 2027.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.
