Fenton Pride Fest

Fenton Pride Fest is an annual Pride festival in downtown Fenton, produced by the nonprofit Fenton Pride Collective. It features more than 80 vendors, food trucks, a dozen or more entertainers, and the Community Ally and Equality Hero award presentations.

Fenton Pride Collective was founded in 2022 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit working to end prejudice and discrimination against LGBTQ+ people in the Fenton area and to promote acceptance and fair treatment. It produces the annual Pride Fest in downtown Fenton each June along with other community activities and services.

The collective aims to offer cultural and educational programs that support mental and physical health, social connection and awareness of LGBTQ+ contributions past and present. Its nondiscrimination policy is broad, and it has a stated goal of gender and racial parity across its committees and activities. Board meetings are open to the public, with a public comment period.

The 2025 festival drew 1,500 or more people despite intense heat, with resources, games, activities and entertainment. The collective has also raised money as a participating charity in the Ally Charity Chip In, tied to a PGA Tour Champions event held in Genesee County.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

Fenton Pride Fest was first held in 2022.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 20, 2026. It usually falls third Saturday of June.
