Rexburg Pride

Rexburg Pride is an annual Pride event at Porter Park in Rexburg.

Rexburg Pride describes itself as a family-friendly gathering meant to show that the town is open to LGBTQ+ people and allies. The afternoon program has opened with activities, vendor booths and food trucks, followed by a community drum circle, a Pride-themed game show and live music, including sets from local artists and the SE Idaho Queer Choir Collective.

The festival also runs a sticker art contest open to local queer and allied artists of any skill level. A Pride art committee chooses at least four original designs, which are printed on limited edition sticker sheets and sold at the festival to raise money for the event. Submissions must be original work, not made with AI, and must stay within a G or PG rating, and artists keep the right to sell their designs elsewhere.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet.
