Boise Pride Festival

Boise Pride Festival is Idaho's largest Pride, a three-day festival at Ann Morrison Park with a Pride Parade. It features live music, drag performances, and vendor booths. The park is free to enter, with ticketed festival areas on some days.

Boise Pride is funded through fundraising, sponsorships and donations, which pay for the annual festival and other events held through the year with local artists, performers and businesses. Its mission is to bring together LGBTQ+ people, their friends and allies, and to plan events as varied as the community itself. The 2026 festival marked its 37th year and carried the theme Louder Than Fear.

Everything takes place at Ann Morrison Park, which is free to enter all three days. Entry to the festival area differs by day. Friday night is a ticketed music and drag show; the 2026 edition featured a DJ set by Trixie Mattel along with Chrissy Chlapecka. On Saturday the festival area is free until 6 p.m., with a $10 cover after that, and people already inside can stay at no extra charge. A $10 donation per day is suggested at the gate on Saturday and Sunday for those who can give.

The parade steps off Sunday morning along River Street, North 9th Street and West Royal Boulevard. Other parts of the 2026 schedule included a community yoga session, a line dance class, a church service led by local groups, a fireworks show held in memory of Laurie Tomlinson, a 21 and over party at Treefort Music Hall and an official afterparty at Bluebird Social.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held September 18-20, 2026. It usually falls third weekend of September.
