Soulard Pride

Soulard Pride is a free neighborhood Pride festival in St. Louis's Soulard district, produced by the Krewe of Vices and Virtues. It includes a golf cart parade, drag and music performances, a kids' corner, and local vendors.

Soulard Pride is produced by the Krewe of Vices and Virtues, a group that supports the old French Town neighborhood and surrounding areas through philanthropic causes and events tied to the history of what it calls the city's oldest surviving neighborhood. The krewe meets monthly, usually on the third Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. at a local bar or restaurant, and invites new volunteers to help plan.

The festival fills the block of Menard Street between Russell and Geyer, and all events are free. The golf cart parade lines up at Big Daddy's, with live music, before departing. In 2026 the stage featured hosted sets from Prism STL performers, the Belles of the Bevo and Pride STL Royalty, followed by a Trans Power Hour. Vendors range from local artists and crafters to small businesses, nonprofits and a county public health sexual health outreach team, and limited-edition merchandise is sold.

Booths are 10 by 10 feet, priced at $35 for nonprofits and $100 for businesses and assigned first come, first served, with vendors bringing their own tables, tents and chairs. Food and drink vendors must obtain City of St. Louis permits in advance.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 13, 2026. It usually falls mid-June Saturday.
