Stoughton Pride

Stoughton Pride is a family-friendly Pride festival held each June on the grounds of First Parish of Stoughton in downtown Stoughton. It is organized by Rainbow Knights and features live music, drag performances, food trucks, children's activities, yard games, and a raffle.

Rainbow Knights started in 2021 with the idea of holding a Pride celebration in town so local queer people would not have to travel far to find community. That first Stoughton Pride was small, with a handful of organizations, lawn games for kids and a decorated car competition, but it grew every year as volunteers gathered around it. The group describes its goal as building a visible, local and inclusive queer community south of Boston.

In 2024 Rainbow Knights became an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit and expanded into monthly gatherings, an online community and a local support network. It is led by a volunteer board whose members serve two-year terms. The festival now has a companion evening event called Queeraoke for LGBTQIA+ adults, and the 2026 festival ran from 1 to 5 p.m. on June 14.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 14, 2026. It usually falls a Sunday in mid-June.
