About Andover Pride Car Parade and Picnic
Andover's annual Pride Car Parade and Picnic in The Park is hosted by South Church in Andover and the Town of Andover DEI Commission. Decorated cars parade from Dundee Office Park to the town green, followed by a picnic with music and games and a collection for local food pantries.
The parade is a short procession of decorated cars. Participants line up at Dundee Office Park on Dundee Park Drive late in the morning, and the cars roll out at noon on a brief loop through town before finishing at The Park, the town green at 34 Bartlett Street.
Once the cars arrive, people spread out on the green with their own picnic lunches and chairs, and music and games continue into the early afternoon, wrapping up at 2 p.m. Residents can take part in several ways: decorating a car and driving in the parade, cheering from the sidewalk along the route, or simply coming for the picnic.
Organizers ask attendees who are able to bring diapers or shelf-stable food, which go to area food pantries. The 2026 edition was the event's seventh year and the fifth to include the picnic on the green.
