Twin Cities PrideFest

Twin Cities PrideFest is a beachside Pride festival at the Shadowland Pavilion on Silver Beach in St. Joseph, produced by OutCenter Southwest Michigan. It features live entertainment and music, local artists and vendors, and space for the community to gather. The 2026 event was the fifth annual edition.

OutCenter Southwest Michigan produces PrideFest as one of three Pride events it holds each year. The organization advocates for LGBTQ+ people, their allies and families in Berrien, Van Buren and Cass counties through support, social and discussion groups, education for civic leaders and local systems, and work to make sure LGBTQ+ residents receive fair services. It also speaks up for rural LGBTQ+ centers in national conversations.

The beachside festival has extended hours, running from midday into the evening. Local artists, community resource groups and businesses can apply for vendor booths for a $25 fee per event, and sponsors can have banners or booths at all three events. Volunteers are recruited for behind-the-scenes work and as greeters and facilitators, with roles for introverts and extroverts alike.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

Twin Cities PrideFest was first held in 2022.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 27, 2026. It usually falls last Saturday of June.
