Da Bronx Pride Festival

Da Bronx Pride is a street festival hosted by Destination Tomorrow, an LGBTQ center in the South Bronx. The festival at The Hub in Melrose features live music, food and community groups.

Destination Tomorrow, the host of Da Bronx Pride, is a grassroots agency that serves as the LGBTQ+ center of the Bronx. It was built on the idea that nobody should have to leave their own neighborhood to find LGBTQ+ services, and it describes the center as a space that LGBTQ+ young people and adults can call their own. Its offices are at 452 East 149th Street.

The center focuses on keeping its most vulnerable community members out of crisis, with education, financial, housing, health and support programs aimed at economic, social and mental well-being. It also offers capacity building for agencies that want to serve LGBTQ+ people but lack the expertise to do so. Its programs include House of Hope, an emergency and transitional housing program for transgender, gender nonconforming and nonbinary adults 25 and older.

Founder and executive director Sean Ebony Coleman, a Black trans man, has emphasized a community-led approach. The organization grew from nine employees in January 2021 to 135 across five offices in three cities by 2025, including a location in Atlanta that opened in 2022.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 20, 2026. It usually falls a Saturday in late June.
