About Emerald Coast Pride
Emerald Coast Pride is a Pride gathering for LGBTQ+ people and allies in the Okaloosa County area, organized by PFLAG Niceville. The 2025 edition was held June 7, 2025 at Warrior's Hall in Crestview and included a clothing drive for a Pride Prom.
Emerald Coast Pride is hosted by PFLAG Niceville as a private event for LGBTQ+ people and their allies, and protesters are required to stay off the property. The 2025 theme was Love Always Wins, with artwork by Ryen Goebel.
The daytime program in 2025 opened with an inspirational talk and ran through the morning with a vendor fair, a virtual silent auction, indoor and outdoor games, food trucks, crafts and a book swap. A Pride Closet offered free gender-affirming clothing. In the evening the event turned into a Pride Prom for all ages, and the Pride Closet stayed open through the dance. Ahead of the event, PFLAG Niceville collected new and gently used gender-affirming clothing, from dresses and suits to accessories, so everyone could dress comfortably for prom.
Local businesses and groups can sponsor the event at several levels. Sponsors of $100 or more receive a certificate and a rainbow window flyer showing they are allies, higher levels add a listing on the PFLAG Niceville website and T-shirts, and top sponsors of $700 or more get a featured presence at the event.
