Lake County Pridefest

Lake County Pridefest is a daylong, family-friendly festival at Ferran Park on the Eustis lakefront, organized by Lake County Pride, a nonprofit founded in 2019. The first in-person Pridefest was held in April 2026 with performers and vendor booths around the park.

Lake County Pride Organization Corp. was founded by Danielle M. Olivani and is run with a volunteer board. It describes itself as intersectional, standing with marginalized and underrepresented communities in Lake County, and it works on civic service, awareness, education and advocacy on LGBTQIA+ issues.

Before its in-person festival, the group held a virtual Pride in September 2020 because of COVID-19. The streamed event featured Drag Race finalist Ginger Minj, DJ and musician Adam Joseph and internet personality Matty Rants, drew more than 2,000 viewers on Facebook and YouTube, and gave all proceeds to Equality Florida's TransAction.

Its goals include connecting LGBTQIA+ residents from youth to elders with resources, businesses, health care and social opportunities; keeping the festival an annual, family-friendly event; using part of the proceeds to fully fund college tuition for a scholarship recipient; and eventually funding a local LGBTQIA+ community center. Supporters have included Equality Florida, St. Pete Pride, DeLand Pride, the United Way of Lake and Sumter County and Climate First Bank.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held April 26, 2026. It usually falls spring (first held in late April 2026).
