Northwest Florida Pride Fest

Northwest Florida Pride Fest is an art market and block party in historic downtown Panama City, hosted by the Gulf Coast LGBTQ Center. The 2026 festival was its third year. The center adds other June events, including a comedy show, a drag brunch and a community march on the last Sunday of June.

The Gulf Coast LGBTQ+ Center, which hosts the festival, works to support the health and well-being of LGBTQIA+ people along the Gulf Coast through programs, services, resources and advocacy for civil and human rights. The center says it runs the only dedicated all-inclusive youth program for LGBTQIA+ and straight-allied young people in the Florida Panhandle. Its stated values include collaboration, celebrating LGBTQ+ culture and history, educating the broader community and improving access to culturally competent health resources.

The June lineup around the festival includes the annual NWFL Pride Fest Comedy Show, co-hosted with Panama City Comedy at House of Henry downtown, and a closing drag brunch at The Bun Lab on South Thomas Drive that honors the reigning Miss NWFL Pride. On the last Sunday of June, the center joins community partners such as the LEAD Coalition and the NAACP for a march. The center also holds a recruitment social for people who want to join its Pride committee, and it invites local and regional artists to submit original artwork for consideration.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 6, 2026. It usually falls first Saturday of June.
