Everett Pride Block Party

Everett Pride holds a downtown block party in Everett in June.

Everett Pride is a nonprofit incorporated in Washington that works to build a safe, fun and connected community for LGBTQ+ people of all ages in Everett. Its goal is a future without discrimination, and it pursues that by producing and supporting Pride events. The organization credits the mayor and the City of Everett for their support, and the city formally proclaims June as Pride Month at a City Council meeting that is also streamed online.

The block party, which reached its fourth year in 2026, runs from midday into the early evening with drag kings and queens on stage, live music from local bands, food and a range of vendors. Drag artist Adraboo has returned to host the stage program, and DJ SummerSoft has played a mix of soul, hip hop, Afrobeats, house, funk, R&B and disco.

Pride Month in Everett reaches beyond the block party. The Everett Pride Passport invites people to visit participating local businesses through June and scan a QR code at each one to enter a raffle, with winners announced in early July. The group has also held smaller events, including a first Drag Plant Bingo night supported by local nurseries and a greenhouse, and it has sold a limited run of Everett Pride scarves for soccer season.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 20, 2026. It usually falls mid to late June.
