About Clark County Pride Rainbow Walk and Festival
Clark County Pride holds an annual Rainbow Walk and Pride festival in La Center. The 2026 edition was the sixth annual.
Clark County Pride began as a small committee of people who wanted to see Pride celebrated in La Center. Their first Pride Walk in June 2021 went well, and the experience made clear to them that the outlying parts of Clark County and Southwest Washington lack the Pride events and queer-focused organizations found in more urban and suburban areas.
The group now describes its role as a porchlight for rural LGBTQ+ people. Its mission is to act as chosen family and protectors for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities across Clark County, Southwest Washington and nearby rural areas by offering safe, caring spaces, resources and connections. It lists respect for each person, their privacy and their pronouns among its core values, and it shares community resources through its website.
