Holyoke Pride

Holyoke Pride is a month-long series of June events in Holyoke that ends with PrideFest in Veterans Park downtown. PrideFest brings live music, drag, art, and food. Other events include a flag raising at City Hall, a youth Queer Prom, a Rainbow Run 5K at Ashley Reservoir, and a drag story hour.

Holyoke Pride describes itself as a month of events honoring the LGBTQ+ community's contributions to the city. In 2026 the Rainbow Run offered both a 5K and a community walk around Ashley Reservoir for runners, walkers and families. Queer Prom took on a geek theme, with cosplay, kandi bracelet making, K-pop dancing, a cosplay runway, drag and music.

PrideFest in Veterans Park was headlined by Joslyn Fox of RuPaul's Drag Race and ran from noon to 6 p.m. An official after party for ages 21 and up followed that evening at The Wauregan, with DJ Transcendence, DJ Jay Alexander and drag performers including Lady Tatiana, Natalia Fierce and Ruby Monroe. Other 2026 events were held at the Holyoke War Memorial, the Holyoke Public Library and Fitzpatrick Arena.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

Holyoke Pride has included festival, flag raising, 5k, youth events, drag brunch and after party.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 27, 2026. It usually falls month of June, with PrideFest on the last Saturday of June.
