Mid-South Pride Fest (Memphis Pride)

Mid-South Pride is a Memphis nonprofit that produces the Memphis Pride Fest weekend. The festival and parade are held on the first Saturday of June, with the parade through the Beale Street Entertainment District and the festival at Robert Church Park at Fourth and Beale. The 2026 weekend ran June 4 to 7, with the festival and parade on June 6.

Memphis Pride traces a tradition going back nearly half a century, growing from a modest picnic into a regional event that organizers say draws more than 60,000 attendees and participants. The festival's Vendor Village features more than 175 vendors, from small businesses and faith groups to community organizations and health care providers offering resources for the LGBTQ+ community.

Groups can register for the parade online with a registration fee, and they receive the route, lineup time and guidelines by email before the event. People marching on their own can join more than 100 volunteers carrying giant 100-foot Pride flags, who line up on 4th Street beside FedExForum before the noon step-off. Marchers are also welcome to walk alongside registered vehicles.

Leashed dogs are allowed at the festival and parade, though organizers remind owners to watch for the heat. Guests may bring pop-up chairs, since seating is limited at peak times, and bottled water is encouraged. Tickets to Memphis Pride Fest and related events are not refundable.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.
