PRIDE Millvale

PRIDE Millvale is a free, all-ages festival held at several locations across the borough of Millvale, supported by local partners and sponsors.

Pride Millvale is created, organized and funded entirely by volunteers, and it is free to attend. Organizers say their goal is a safe, supportive and fun event for queer people and their allies, and they see visibility as key to raising awareness and acceptance of identities that have long been marginalized.

A volunteer planning committee meets every year to work out how to keep the event inclusive, welcoming and safe, and new members are invited to join. Day-of volunteers are coordinated through VolunteerMatch, and local businesses and groups can support the festival as sponsors or partners. The event depends on that community support to happen at all, and people can join the mailing list for updates. Organizers note that community sponsorships are a large part of what keeps the festival free for everyone.

Pride events celebrate LGBTQ+ people and mark the Stonewall uprising of June 1969. Most combine a parade or march with a festival of performers, community groups, vendors and food.

The organizer has not announced dates for 2027 yet. In 2026 it was held June 20, 2026. It usually falls third Saturday in June.
